Stria Studio began with a simple ambition: to give Indian homes access to distinctive, internationally minded design that is difficult to find locally.
Our pieces begin as original digital studies in rhythm, growth, erosion and geometry. They are developed through prototypes and 3D printed in small batches in Bengaluru, giving us the precision to make complex forms while producing close to demand.

The name "Stria" comes from the fine striations left as each piece is built, layer by layer. Most makers sand them away. We celebrate them — they catch the light and give every object a tactile, architectural quality that mass production can't replicate.
We work primarily with plant-based PLA and selected wood-filled PLA. Each material is chosen for how it holds detail, diffuses light and supports the intended finish. Every piece is inspected, assembled where required and finished by hand.

We treat a lamp as an object first and a light source second. It should carry the space when switched off and shape the atmosphere when switched on. That is why proportion, surface and shadow are refined with the same care.
